A Restaurant Manager Tried to Throw Me and My 8-Year-Old Daughter Out—Then I Sent One Text

I was quietly cutting my daughter’s chicken when the manager stopped beside our table and sneered, “People like you don’t belong in this section.” My little girl looked at me and whispered, “Daddy, did we do something wrong?” I stayed calm—even when she called security. Then I sent one text to corporate headquarters. She thought I had two minutes before being thrown out. She had no idea she had less than two minutes left as manager.

The manager called security because a tired single father was taking too long over dinner. What she didn’t know was that the man calmly cutting his daughter’s chicken had the authority to fire her before security reached the dining room.
